Channel Manager

Extra-financial issues, such as climate change and corporate governance, are now essential topics that investment professionals and corporate executives must track and monitor.

ASSET4 AG, the leading provider of objective and comprehensive extra-financial information, is seeking an experienced Channel Manager to establish a channel partner network for two ASSET4 product lines: assetmasterProfessional™ targeted at professional investors and assetmasterExecutive™ for corporate executives.

As the need for our products expands, there is a growing range of organisations, such as investment consultants, risk consultants, data providers and management consultants, interested in delivering our solutions or incorporating our data in their own solution/services.

The channel manager’s initial focus will be to plan and coordinate the go-to-market strategy for assetmasterExecutive, which will involve direct selling and establishing a strong partner network.


The work will include

  • Formalisation of a channel partner strategy and go-to-market plan with our VP Business Development
  • Segmentation and formulation of value propositions for the various partner segments
  • Definition and follow-up on global top target lists for the investor and corporate markets
  • Implementation of partner programme
  • Develop and provide product and sales training and tools for partners
  • Build and maintain a market intelligence system
  • Create market pull by generating direct sales and sales leads for the partners in the corporate market


Your profile

  • Experience in planning and implementing partner programmes
  • Experience with global consulting organisations and the financial industry
  • Background as consultant or in selling content related products to corporate or financial markets
  • Strong drive to meet expectations and motivate others
  • Keen interest in extra-financial issues, such as climate change and corporate sustainability, which are affecting the valuation and success of today’s corporations.
  • Fluent in English – written as well as verbal; German is an advantage
  • Prepared to travel (50%)

Controller / Accountant

ASSET4 offers a new generation of objective and transparent extra-financial information to professional investors allowing them to merge measurable ESG data into their everyday investment processes.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a controller / accountant who will have general accounting knowledge such as debt, credit, salary, general ledger, yearly and quarter accounts, tax declarations for legal entities, VAT account, etc., as well as be responsible for the drawing up and controlling of the budget. You will also correspond with internal and external contacts and provide financial presentations to the board of directors and management.

Your Profile

  • Excellent financial accounting and controlling knowledge
  • Some years professional experience in bookkeeping and controlling
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting systems, including CRM software, Salesforce.com
  • Fluent in German and English, verbally and in writing
  • Team player, flexible, independent and accurate
  • Start date: immediately, latest Autumn 2008

Holders of First and/or University Degree

Its Mauritian subsidiary: ASSET IV DATA SERVICES is recruiting high calibre business and data analysts.

Your Profile

  • Holder of degree in Finance or Business Administration or Economics or Commerce or Management would be preferred, but applicants with other backgrounds and a demonstrated interest in extra-financial factors will be considered.
  • Qualifications in social, environment and corporate governance fields would be an advantage.
  • Excellent logical and analytical skills with a focus on business and finance and basic understanding of statistics.
  • Ability to read and interpret a wide variety of extra-financial information (sustainability reports, annual reports, news sources, websites, etc.) in order to verify and validate corporate information and performance in these areas.
  • Proficient knowledge and interest in world and business affairs.
  • Should be a regular reader of major international business newspapers and magazines.
  • Very strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer
  • Excellent command of English both written and spoken
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
